Overview

JBD Tritec where contracted by a large energies & services contractor to be the main pipework contractor for a new vaccine facility in Livingston, Scotland.

In this Instance we worked closely with our clients designers as the design was still under development during construction due to the tight timeline on the project.

Project Specifics

• Circa 3200m of stainless steel pipework installed varying from ½” to 8” diameter.
• Energy centre consisted of piping - 7 air handling units, hot and cold water plant rooms, boiler plant room, 3 chillers and 2 dry air coolers.
• Pipework connections to 52 clean rooms.
• Pipework services - steam and condensate, natural gas, LTHW, CWS, PCW.
• Project duration - 6 months.
