Overview

JBD Tritec where contracted by a large international hotelier to be the structural steel and metalwork contractor for a new hotel in Glasgow.

Working closely with the site team and project engineer, we completed a range of works within the existing building.

Project Specifics

• c. 30t structural steel frame to create a new extension on the first floor.
• Strengthening steelwork to the upper ground, stair and lift core.
• 2 x structural plant decks to support maintainable air handling units.
• Steel emergency escape stairs.
• Various gates, railings, barriers and handrails.
• Project duration - 18 Months on and off.
