JBD Tritec were contracted by a long standing customer who where closing down one of their Glasgow sites to decommission and strip out the entire plant.

JBD Tritec were the principal contractor on this project aswell as the main mechanical contractor.

Project Specifics

• Principal Contractor Role - Inclusive but not limited to all site planning and management, site welfare, project timelines, sequencing works, isolations & permit to work systems.
• Project exceeded more than 15,000 man hours generating over 800 permits to work over a 6 month period, with no lost time accidents or incidents to report.
• JBD Tritec team stripped out 438 metric tons of waste metal.
• Several selected pieces of equipment required a planned and sequenced strip out to be loaded on to 43 HGV loads to be shipped abroad to alternate sites.
