Who's who at JBD Tritec and Excel Engineering Services...

Henry Dougan
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Henry is responsible for all aspects of the companies working with our experienced team.
Henry joined the company in 1989 and worked his way through the ranks, being appointed as a Director in 2003 and in 2024 took ownership of the business.

Connor Dougan
DIVISIONAL MANAGER - PIPEWORK DIVISION
Connor is responsible for all aspects of our pipework division including tendering and management of small, medium and our largest projects.
Connor joined the business as an apprentice Pipefitter in 2012 working his way through to a site supervisors role, completing his HNC then on to a project managers role. Connor manages the contracts team and all subsequent works through the pipework division and works closely with the other divisional managers on Turnkey projects and services.
Connor is conversant with all pipe materials/ specifications and associated pipe systems that we operate on.

David Young
DIVISIONAL MANAGER - PUMP DIVISION
David was appointed in 2009 as the Contracts Manager for the newly formed Pump Division, and promoted to Divisional Manager in 2016. He is responsible for the management of the division including sales, quotations, supply contracts, service and repairs.
He has a BSc(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Strathclyde University and previously worked with the Weir Group.

Scott McKenzie
QHSE MANAGER
Scott is responsible to our Managing Director on all matters relating to our Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Systems.
Scott provides support to all employees on QHSE matters, implementing and encouraging good working practices to reduce the likelihood of accidents or incidents in the workplace.
Scott oversees contracts where the business has been nominated as principal contractor and is our Responsible Welding Coordinator for EXC 2 Structural Steelwork.
Scott joined the business in 2006 and has over 30 years in quality and health and safety working on a wide range of projects and work sites.

Una Kane
FINANCE MANAGER
Una is responsible for all day-to-day accounting operations. Una supervises the finance and administration team and oversees all financial aspects of the business.
Una gives support to the board and project management team where required.
Una joined us in 2008 and has previously worked across a variety of sectors including banking, architectural practice and the motor trade.

Phil Mcintyre
PIPEWORK MANAGER
Phil is responsible for pricing works, purchasing materials, contract manning and job completion. Phil served his apprenticeship as a mechanical fitter with Howden Process Compressors before becoming a draughtsman and finally a design engineer through his twelve year career with Howden. Since joining JBD Tritec in 2015, Phil has worked within a broad range of industries including pharmaceutical, waste water, distilleries and food and drink.

Andrew Young
PUMP SALES ENGINEER
Andy is responsible for survey, sizing, pricing and management of pump supply/overhaul and pumping solutions for our pump division. Working with the team to provide the full turnkey services we offer.
Andy joined the business in 2013 as a mechanical engineer before moving onto sales.
Daniel McChesney
PIPEWORK CONTRACTS MANAGER
Daniel is responsible for all aspects of Pipework Contracts Management, inclusive of pricing works, ordering materials, man management, site installation, quality control and health & safety.
Daniel joined us in 2014 as an apprentice pipe fitter and achieved apprentice of the year in 2019, then working his way to being a Pipework Supervisor. Daniel then joined our management team in January of 2025.
Daniel started his career in the British Army as an apprentice pipe fitter / welder on the Royal Engineers. During this time Daniel was offered the role as a Clerk of Works but decided to leave in 2014 joining JBD Tritec Ltd.

Allan Leonard
PIPEWORK CONTRACTS MANAGER
Allan is responsible for all aspects of Pipework Contracts Management, inclusive of pricing works, ordering materials, man management, site installation, quality control and health & safety.
Alan joined us in May 2025, having previously worked with Doosan Babcock for 22 years brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of pipework fabrication and installation.
Graeme Wilkinson
DIVISIONAL MANAGER - STRUCTURAL STEELWORK & FABRICATION
Graeme is responsible for all aspects of our Structural Steel and Fabrication Division inclusive of tendering and management of small, medium and large projects.
Graeme joined us in 2018. And brings 25 years construction industry experience including site installation, cladding systems and man management.
Graeme also has extensive knowledge of BS EN 1090 requirements up to and including EXC 3.

John Burchill
FABRICATION CONTRACTS MANAGER
John is responsible for all aspects of Fabrication Contracts Management, inclusive of pricing works, ordering materials, man management, site installation, quality control and health & safety.
John joined us in 2008 as a Fabricator, working his way to becoming a Chargehand, then Workshop Supervisor in 2021. John joined the Management Team in February 2025.
John has 50 years of experience working with various steel fabrication workshops throughout Glasgow.

Kate Telfer
QUALITY COORDINATOR
Kate works closely with the management team across the business to ensure that project quality documentation is completed and submitted when required. This involves liaising directly with the client, third party inspectors and sub-contractors.
Kate has many years’ experience of auditing and ISO Standards.
Kate joined us in 2013 and previously worked at OKI UK in Cumbernauld for 25 years where she started out as a Production Operator then being promoted to Test Technician, then Production Engineer.
Kate has an HNC in Electronic Engineering and Quality Management.

Victoria Harper
OFFICE MANAGER
Vicky is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our company’s office functions, inclusive of managing payroll, IT, vehicles, holidays, coordination of travel and accommodation for on-site staff. Vicky provides support to the management team and staff, ensuring all admin issues are addressed promptly with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.
Vicky joined us in 2010 and brings a strong background in payroll and finance to the admin team.

Lisa Haggarty
CREDIT CONTROL & FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR
Lisa is responsible for all aspects of purchase invoicing and credit control inclusive of opening customer accounts, processing invoices and credits, allocating receipts and issuing statements.
Lisa also oversees our reception ensuring calls and visitors are directed to the relevant department.
Lisa joined us in 2015, bringing previous accounts experience from the forklift industry.

Ethan Handy
TRAINEE PIPEWORK CONTRACTS MANAGER
Ethan joined the team in 2023 following completing an HNC in Engineering Systems at West College Scotland. Ethan works alongside our Pipework Management Team gaining experience in the fabrication and installation of pipework systems, estimating, purchasing, materials, quality and health & safety.
Ethan has recently completed his SVQ 2 in Fabrication and Welding and is now working on his SVQ 3 through Glasgow Clyde College.

Peter Dimanna
DIVISIONAL MANAGER - VALVES (Excel Engineering Services)
Peter runs our subsidiary company, Excel Engineering Services, based in Whitburn, being responsible for all aspects of the company’s performance.
Peter served his apprenticeship with M & D Valves in Clydebank as a Valve Technician and has 40 years experience in valve refurbishment, inspection and testing gained from working in various countries around the works.
Peter joined us in 2014 as a Valve Technician moving to Service Supervisor and then joining the management team in 2025.

Linda Anderson
OFFICE MANAGER - VALVES (Excel Engineering Services)
Lynda is our Office Manager at Excel Engineering Services.
Lynda ensures the smooth and efficient operation of our company’s office functions, inclusive of managing payroll, IT, vehicles, holidays, coordination of travel and accommodation for on-site staff.
Lynda joined Excel Engineering Services in 2006.
