Macrae Seafood Facility at Livingston

JBD Tritec have recently been appointed by the Macrae Food Group, the Scottish ready-to-eat Seafood group, to take part in the construction of a new £10 million seafood-processing plant in Livingston.

As part of the development of the new 64,000sq ft plant being built at Livingston's Starlaw Industrial Park , JBD Tritec are assisting with the installation of refrigeration equipment across the facility. This will include manufacturing all the steelwork racking and cooler supports for the plant, and taking responsibility for the installation of pipework.

Macrae Food Group is one of the largest seafood processing companies in the UK with a turnover in the region of £86m and processing factories located at strategic locations throughout the UK.

Macrae Food Group supplies quality seafood products to most of the major multiple retail chains as well as to the foodservice sector and is rapidly expanding its export sales.
