Macfarlan Smith Pharmaceutical and Petrochemical Works
JBD Tritec's largest client in the pharmaceutical and petrochemical sector is Macfarlan Smith, a Johnson Matthey company. A world leader in the production of alkaloid opiates and other controlled drugs, Macfarlan Smith has manufactured and developed active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates for over 200 years. Today the company operates a state-of-the-art plant to the highest level of cGMP.
JBD Tritec provides a complete suite of services including pipework enginering, fabrication and mechanical works. The company also services Macfarlan Smith's day to day maintenance requirements as well as specific project works.
Work ranges from schedule 10 / 40 grade 316 stainless steel, carbon steel, hastalloy, PTFE lined pipework to fully fabricated skid units to cover the all the companies requirements. JBD Tritec also provides orbital welding services for the manufacture and installation of high purity fluid systems to ASME BPE 2002.

Our training programme and breadth of experienced personnel allows JBD Tritec to fully comply with the industry best standards of health and safety management.
