Chivas Brothers - Relocation to Paisley Facility
Chivas Brothers, the manufacturer of Premium Blended Old Scotch Whisky, appointed JBD Tritec to manage their relocation to their new Paisley facility. Including the dismantling of bottling lines and case conveyors at the whisky bottling plant in Kilwinning, JBD Tritec provided a comprehensive service:
- Dismantling and removing overhead accumulation roller conveyors and incline / decline belt conveyors
- Dismantling interconnecting bottle conveyors between blower / filler / capper and labelling machines
- Dismantling guarding and split monobloc fillers / cappers to manageable sizes for transportation
- Loading and transporting using a combination of mobile cranes and forklift trucks
- Off loading at destination, ingression and setting in position
- Fitting overhead conveyors and support steelwork, fitting bottle conveyors and guide rails
- Manufacturing, supplying and fitting new dust and reach guards
- Manufacturing, supplying and fitting new packing station
- Installing process equipment, tanks, spirit lines and air lines
